In Spain we spent 3 years developing our knowledge, experience and expertise in the renewable energy industry. This mainly comprised of Solar Photovoltaics (PV) and Solar Thermal, but also Heat Pumps and Wind Turbines. Since returning to the UK we have been contracted to many solar companies in the Cheshire area and Wrexham County Borough Council, prompting us to evolve our company and start selling solar products as well. Establishing Solartech-Installations in 2012 the company has fast built up a reputation for providing quality installations.
We are an MCS accredited and Napit approved company specialising in the latest PV Systems. We are fully commited to providing the best customer service, advice, quality equipment and installation. Our continued aim is to be the best installation company in the UK. We do not believe in high pressure sales techniques employed by some companies. We believe it is more beneficial for one of our installation team to come and carry out a full site survey of your property and we can explain where the system components will be located and figure out the best way to run the cables. Giving you technical knowledge in your home, we will be able to answer any questions you may have and you can meet the team face to face prior to any installation you choose to have.

As members of the Renewable Energy Assurance scheme (RECC) we aim to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The RECC Assurance Scheme logo is a sign that the company has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code.
The RECC Assurance Scheme outlines a consumer code which recognises that the customer has a right to expect that goods and services supplied will function properly and meet the quality standards that you would reasonably expect.
The code covers the following areas:

Contracts
Completion of Orders
After-Sales Activity
Amongst other things the code sets out provision to ensure that sales staff do not employ the following:
Remain in your home for an unreasonable length of time
Offer high initial prices followed by large discounts
Offer a discount for signing immediately
Withhold price information until the end of the visit
Make claims that there is limited availability of product
All customers also have a no penalty, 14 working days cooling off period after signing a contract.
Microgeneration Approved Installer
The microgeneration approved installer scheme replaced the Clear Skies and PV programme. The new scheme is designed to be more robust and to make sure that approved installers offer high quality products, and that they have met and will continue to meet, high quality standards. Using an approved installer mean that, if you are eligible, you will have access to a large number of easily accessed grant funding streams. It also proves that Solartech Installations Ltd has undergone strict and thorough inspections of previous installations together with inspections of sales, design and installation procedures, which means we ensure competency and that we comply with various installation quality requirements.
